It may be Scotland's newest city, but Stirling has a long and fascinating history. The city is most known for its associations with William Wallace and the Wallace Monument, the battle of Bannockburn, Stirling Castle and the modern University of Stirling. Visiting Stirling and staying at our Stirling hotel offers a fantastic base from which to visit Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Scotland's first national park. Many who visit Loch Lomond fall in love with its beautiful scenery. The nearby Blair Drummond Safari Park and Adventure Park is a great place for families visiting Stirling. Just outside the city centre, close to our Stirling hotel, the attractions at Blair Drummond Safari Park feature all sorts of animals from lions and tigers to antelopes and birds of prey, and attractions such as the Giant Astraglide and Wooden Castle. Visiting Stirling would not be complete without seeing music and arts venues such as The Tolbooth, Macrobert Arts Centre and Albert Halls, which feature live events such as theatre, dance and music. Stirling hotels are a great starting place from which to see all these sites and more, in a city right in the heart of Scotland. Stirling Hotels | Visit Loch Lomond | Visiting Stirling |
